Privacy – A2Dsign - Local Music Player

This page applies to older versions of the Mac app “A2Dsign - Local Music Player”. The app is now called A2Dsign: Local Music Desktop; its features and privacy practices are unchanged.

2. No data collection

This app does not collect any personal data. It requires no user account and contains no advertising, no analytics or tracking tools, and sends no crash reports. No data is transmitted to us or to third parties.

3. Data stored locally

Settings, favorites, ratings, play counts and playlists are stored only on this device and, if you choose, additionally as M3U files in a folder you select. You can delete them at any time via “Delete saved data” or by uninstalling the app.

4. Access to music files

The app only accesses folders that you select and grant access to yourself. Files are only read in order to play them and to display track information and cover art.

5. Purchase and updates

Purchases, downloads and updates are handled by the store you obtained the app from, under its privacy policy. We do not receive any personal data about you in the process.

6. Your rights

You have the rights under Art. 15–21 GDPR (including access, rectification and erasure) and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). Since we do not store any data about you, we hold no data that we could disclose or delete.
